Hollyhock Haven is Still a haven

It's snowing again. Surely nowhere else in the northern hemisphere is it snowing except here in Alberta. It's April 15th, mind you! I put my garden in once at this time of year. I guess it didn't do all that well, even the peas rotted, but still I was planting hope and enthusiasm which is what you do when you are young, right? Stop looking so smug all you gals who put in your garden in February!

Right now I am once again sowing seeds of hope. Hoping folks will just drop what they are doing and come chat with us. After being shut in by winter for so long we need another view of the world. Come on in with your tales of faraway places and exotic dreams. Come on in with your need to relax and be restored. There's plenty of place here to rest and recreate. And please...bring balmy spring with you!

P.S. If you like visiting about all kinds of things, you've come to the right place!

P.P.S. We're another kind of haven. If you have no place to turn and need someone to talk to give us a call. You won't be the first one...not the last.

Update: And this applies again!!! April 23!!! But I'd rather be here than in California where they are facing drought!!
